Coaches are an integral part of our plan to develop Kawana players, become a quality competition and achieve success and growth of our affiliate. They play a vital role by fostering the growth in athletes on and off the field – making it an incredibly rewarding role.

At Kawana Touch, it’s our strategic goal to ensure we’re providing opportunities for everyone to develop their skills and grow. By coaching with us, you are helping lift capabilities of our association and have a positive impact on our touch community.

Touch Football Australia Coaching Pathway

Touch Football Australia (TFA) has a four-tier accreditation system linked to the AIS Development model FTEM. Coach Accreditation lasts for a period of four years, after which updating your accreditation is required. The Nest is the home of Sport Education for Touch Football Australia.

Through their online learning management system, The Nest, TFA provide education and resources for coaching and refereeing, as well as player education.
