JUNIORS

Welcome to Kawana Touch Juniors!

Kawana Touch Juniors is a competition for boys and girls, held twice a year on a Monday afternoon from 4pm.

Teams can be submitted for the following age divisions:
• 9 & Under
• 11 & Under, and
• 13 & Under.

These age divisions align to the school touch football framework and All Schools competitions.

Kawana Touch encourages schools and individual players from across the Sunshine Coast region to participate in our competitions.

The duration of the junior competition is approximately 10 weeks of games which are run over three time slots: 4pm, 4.35pm and 5.10pm.

Season 1 runs from February to May and Season 2 runs from August to October.

Costs are $60 per player (plus uniform costs, if required). Please note Touch Football Australia and Queensland Touch Football charge an additional annual membership fee of $52 per player, which is paid once each financial year. More details regarding the annual membership fee model are located on our Governance webpage.

All teams require a minimum of nine players and in order to play in the competition, players must be registered. It is compulsory for teams to have a team manager or team delegate assigned to them.

If your child is 14 and over, they are eligible to play in our senior competition. Kawana Touch encourages parents to enquire with your child’s school in the first instance to ascertain if there is already a team in our competition. If not, Kawana Touch will try to assist young players either form their own team or join an existing team.
